Jon Bernthal cast as the Punisher in Season 2 of Daredevil!

Breaking news!! Hardy is out, Jon Bernthal of Walking Dead fame has been cast as our buddy Frank for Netflix’s Daredevil series 2016 season.

My first reaction was “man I hated Shane, I was really hoping for Tom Hardy to get a shot”  but after thinking on it. Jon wasn’t the most obvious choice, but he is damn well a perfect one. And by judging from the looks of the teaser Daredevil logo for season 2 it looks like Frank will be at least one major antagonists. Here’s hoping he becomes the main threat to Daredevil, so we get to see as much as possible.
